According to the results of a new Zogby International poll, 61 percent of Americans support a policy that ensures “all Americans have health coverage.” Proponents of universal health care (which is a bad phrase by the way; we’re providing health care to one species in one country on one planet–“universal” sounds too daunting) will no doubt tout this as proof that their cause enjoys majority support.
That’s technically true, but here’s the part of the poll that stuck out to me: 31 percent of Americans think health care is NOT a right, and do not want to work toward a day where everyone can afford to see a doctor. I know, glass half empty right? Well, sometimes the damn glass is half-empty.

Sorry: half-empty.

Who is to say what is a right and what is not? Why should any human have any rights other breathing and those written in the Constitution? Heck, lets just give all lazy, unwilling to work, rather sit on there ass and collect food stamps, baby making people free cars and houses while we are at it?
