Wanna work for rock star Mick Fleetwood? Fleetwood is filling 120 positions for his much anticipated Fleetwood’s on Front St., a 16,000 square foot epicurean restaurant and retail operation. On Monday, June 2, they will be accepting applications on site and conducting interviews from noon to 8pm at their 744 Front St., Lahaina location (formerly the Lahaina Store Grill and Oyster Bar).
But don’t expect Fleetwood himself to interview you. Managing partner Jonathan Todd and manager Jill Holley (formerly of Hard Rock Cafe) are part of the talented group running Fleetwood’s on Front St. The restaurant will feature an “English Bohemian” gourmet menu, and Mick Fleetwood’s own private label award-winning wines. There will also be a shop selling wines and other items. Plans for event space, entertainment and outdoor dining areas are also in the works.
“Around the country, the lack of jobs has been taking its toll,” says Todd. “In Lahaina, we are working hard to do our part to create opportunities for our community and are dedicated to hiring within the community. We are making a concerted effort to attract strong team members, create an environment where people can get back to work, taxes can be generated and the surrounding area can benefit from our success.”
