Darrell is extremely dedicated to and knowledgeable about the natural healing properties of plants and flowers that are indigenous to Hawaii. We’re thrilled to uphold and carry on the integrity and rituals associated with his products. He personally created the ‘awa cacao Lomi cocoon treatment for Kapalua Spa. We use Lomi Lomi techniques to apply a blend of Hawaiian ‘awa, cacao, natural herbs and oils onto the body. While you’re in the warm body wrap, you receive a head, neck and foot massage. Pikake spritz/ lotion application follows the wrap, moisturizing the skin and leaving a delightful scent. 80 minutes: $245.

During the times that you feel that you need to take refuge from the demands of every day life, my advice is to plan to retreat from the world for a few precious hours and create your own me time. Taking a long bath is a great way to relax! Add aromatherapy oils and sea salt to enhance benefits and mood. Your skin is able to release impurities and absorb the healing properties of any herbs and minerals that are added in the bathwater. Give your mind a chance to switch off and unwind. For a complete relaxation burn a candle, drink a cup of tea and curl up with a good book; there is nothing like a long leisurely soak to melt away tension!
